SUPERVISION OPPORTUNITIES

Provisional licence holder looking for a supervisor in Christchurch or NZ?

Evelyn Dyer is a fully licensed immigration adviser based in Christchurch, New Zealand. She provides close supervision to provisional licence holders who want to work on their own and who are not employed by another immigration adviser. Because there are no rules about how supervision meetings should take place, Evelyn is able to supervise provisional licence holders living anywhere in New Zealand through face-to-face video call meetings, phone calls and emails.

Evelyn is an experienced immigration adviser who has worked in the immigration industry for more than five years. She holds a law degree from the University of Canterbury and will be returning to her university in Semester One 2023 as the lecturer for the immigration law component of the Immigration and Refugee Law paper, which she herself took during her studies at the University of Canterbury. She is proud to be replacing the lecturer who first introduced her to immigration law and will teach a class of approximately 150-200 university students the basics of immigration law in New Zealand.

As a supervisor, Evelyn is friendly, professional and practical. She will take the time to coach you on different topics, including the Licensed Immigration Advisers Code of Conduct, client engagement, written agreements, proper invoicing procedure, various different visa categories, and more complex immigration matters, such as responding to PPI letters, Deportation Liability Notices, and representing clients to the Immigration & Protection Tribunal.

To read more about Evelyn's background and experience, please see our About Us page.

If you are interested in having Evelyn as your supervisor, please get in touch by contacting her directly at edyer.immigration@gmail.com. Please provide a copy of your CV along with a bit about yourself, your background and what you're looking for in a supervisor. We look forward to hearing from you.
